The challenge:
Super Market Chain in Greece needs to upgrade customer services, facilitate the work of the personnel and boost marketing and promotion of the chain with a fast and cost effective way. They need to be able to inform customers for new discounts, increase the word of mouth publicity and enhance the level of services. The range and the variety of the groups targeted is enormous to be handled with regular means of communication.
Client actions:
E-mail notifications are out of question, since it is unlikely that all clients will even have an account or that they will frequently check their notifications. Other than that, coupons have been so far printed and many clients would either lose it or destroy it by accident or miss the deadline along with the opportunity to redeem the value of the coupon. TV and radio marketing, however effective, is very very costly and does not create a bond between the Super Market and the customers.
Our actions:
SMSCUBE created a multiple-service package customised to meet the needs of the super market. Clients subscribe to the market database and they receive SMS notifications for discounts, new arrivals, charities and so on. They also receive QR code coupons which they can redeem in every store and for which they receive notifications twice before the coupon expires. Combined with bulk messaging, we employ the SMSCUBE, 2-way SMS notifications, in order to urge the clients participate in competitions, bazaars and fund-raising for charities initiated by the Super market chain. Clients also have the option of sending their feedback through the 2-way SMS service.
What we deliver:
The Super Market manages to control the entire database of their clients in the fastest and most cost-effective possible way. The number of people validating SMS coupons has increased almost 20% and along with that the level of mobility and the income for the super market.
The Super market has released its staff of all the work related to coupons validation and verbal update of the clients, making their work easier and more effective. Sms notifications created business leads. We introduced a SMS solution as a marketing tool and sms notifications transformed the store to a “happening – place”.
The next day:
