The challenge:

Private school in the UK with numerous students wants to develop a network within which they will be able to notify students, parents, teachers and consultants on a large volume of issues such as exam dates, school excursions, parent advising, lectures, medical tests, scholarships, school championships and grades all in one. The variety of recipients and the confidentiality of certain information is so far non-manageable.

Client actions:

The Private school, so far, employed the telephone and e-mail notifications, but the amount of information distributed, the frequency of the notifications and the variety of issues and final recipients brought the school to a dead-end concerning the effectiveness of said means.

Our actions:

SMSCUBE created a system of a school SMS system base on  of bulk messaging and  directed to 5 distinct categories: Students, parents, teachers, outsourcing and miscellaneous. Students receive a message notification for changes in timetable and alerts for upcoming exams, events or excursions. Parents receive notice for grades, events or medical exams sponsored by the school. There is an extra feature for parents that confirms the delivery of notifications to their children. Teachers also receive deadlines and alerts concerning the school agenda. Outsourcing messages are directed to selected recipients including school transportation, guest lecturers, cleaning & maintenance companies. Miscellaneous is the last category through which the school can notify the press or various educational institutions concerning events, awards and innovations within the school. Users also have the ability to add alternative numbers (for example guardians or other family members) through the subscription form in the schools website, completely free of charge. Users can access all previous notifications and keep a record simply by using the short code provided by SMSCUBE, once they opt-in. Opting out is as easy as sending a CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE message.

What we deliver:

The flow of information is guaranteed with SMSCUBE, as well as confidentiality towards everyone involved. The management exerts an excellent control over the alerts distributed through a cloud-based interface. The communication channel and the delivery of messages regardless of each user’s provider is assured.
